I’m living in nyc and wanted to know what I would need to do to get admitted into an lpn program. I was looking at the brooklyn adult learning center and saw that they only require a pre admissions exam and an interview but I still don’t know how many people apply versus people getting rejected. I just want to know if I’m not fighting a truly up hill battle like I would with RN.

I’m a teacher applying for secondary level jobs and some jobs say English and others Language Arts and others still English Language Arts. I’ve taught overseas for the last 8 years and have never heard of language arts taught at the high school level so I’m confused.

I have been an office manager for a few years but it’s at a lower-tech business: martial arts schools. So I only have to know Microsoft Office Suite. I’m thinking about applying to be an office manager outside this field in a regular business. What computer programs and skills do I need to have under my belt?

I’m doing book research and I need opinions (From multilingual people) about how the english language compares to other languages in categories like emotional expression, idioms, etc. Also, if you know a word or phrase in a foreign language which the english language doesn’t have a word for, etc, I’d like that information, too.

I am looking for any online resources that do not reference Wikipedia or any other encyclopedia so please be creative. I have done some researching on my own but have hit a brick wall in some areas.
I am also not a “youngester” looking for help with homework since I am no longer in school or college. Otherwise this question would have been posted under “HOMEWORK HELP”.
Yes, this is about the Historical Silk Road Europe to China.
Please no book recommenations, I did state ONLINE resources. And yes I have read both books: by Marco Polo and the other was Warrior Women by Dr. Jeannine Davis-Kimball who is American.

Since i may not be able to go to school full time, or at all, in the future because of my physical health, what is home schooling like? Im a sophomore in high school, i know socialization won’t be a problem, but i want to know things like where to get tutors or good online classes, parents doing the homeschooling is out of the question.
do colleges think less of home schooled students?
any more insight would be great
i’m in honors/AP classes at school
if i switched to getting schooled at home, would those classes still be an option?
