I have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, so I took A LOT of math classes, including; Theory of Mathematics, Calculus !, !! & !!!, etc. I don’t like programming and I was wondering what good careers are there in Mathematics, besides teaching ( i would love to teach, but i didn’t take any teaching classes).
Do you need additional training for jobs like actuary. Would I have to go back to school? I have 2 minors also (including Mathematics), I don’t want to go back to school.

…and I pay for a tutor to come out and visit me, say they tutored me in GCSE maths and science so I could get a better GCSE result, how would I be certified for this, as in how would I have a certificate to say I achieved a grade ‘whatever’ for maths and a grade ‘whatever’ for science? Would I need to go back to school, or take a year in college to resit maths and science, or would the tutor give me one, r would they enter me into an exam for it?
I don’t know how it works, but I think I am going to start this soon.

Pretty much of the world speaks English not as their primary language except for us and the UK but as their secondary language.

A question to the internet oldschoolers who might be residing among us – if a quick trip to your local library “gave 0 results for your search” or not enough anyway, what online resources did you most frequently refer to before Wikipedia was born or when it was still doing baby-steps? I know there were hundreds of sites back then on almost any topic on inquiery, but what were your favourite ones and was there anything close to Wikipedia’s immenseness (minus the risk of false information)?

My niece is a great artist, but has ADHD and can’t do the whole school thing. She has almost no computer skills and I’m not sure she has the aptitude just yet.
She’s very interested in fashion and interior decorating. It seems like there is a career in there somewhere.
Any ideas? She’s 19.

In 1970, in his book Future Shock, Alvin Toffler warned us that we would probably all have to consider education to be a life-long thing. Technology was going to change faster and faster, and we would be obsolete one or more times before we retired. I’m facing an 18-week intensive training program in Office Administration (chiefly software) now, and I wonder if young people have accepted that they will always nead to be learning something new?
