Preparatory School

If we debate about school reform, we talk only about problems related to education in the school premises. schools very well know this fact that many inequities in education happen outside the school premises. On an average, every student spend their 10 percent of life in schools till the age of 18. The remaining 90 percent they spend at home, with their colleges while absorbing the influence that mould their habits and values. So we can say that increasing violence among the students is not only the issue which have to deal by only school, home condition and students community is also responsible for their violence.

Parents, teachers and students expect that public schools are very safe place for their children. But nowadays many violence acts are happening in public schools which disrupt the learning process of students. More importantly, these types of violence have huge negative emotional impact on those students or people affected by it. According to recent report on crime and safety issues for students provided by the department of education, those students who belongs to age group of 13 to 18 years are the victims of about 2.7 million crimes at school premises in every year. 28 percent students of public schools as well as private schools belonging to high school reported being bullied in the last period of six months. About 20 percent of students in high school report being frightened with physical assault. In addition to these incidents of involving firearms, there are various other crimes also, from physical assault to molesting, abusing on school campuses worldwide. Apart from gun related violence, violence in public or general place is also very common in public school.

On the other hand if we talk about preparatory school, so it is good that here small childs are enrolled. These small child don’t posses so much knowledge about the bad activities or violence. Usually, parents send their child at preparatory school for the very first time with a hope that in future, he/she will no divert in the wrong direction of illegal activities. In preparatory schools students have the age group in which what teacher or parents will guide or teach child mentallity will mould like that only.
