My niece is a great artist, but has ADHD and can’t do the whole school thing. She has almost no computer skills and I’m not sure she has the aptitude just yet.

She’s very interested in fashion and interior decorating. It seems like there is a career in there somewhere.

Any ideas? She’s 19.

I am volunteering for a non profit domestic violence shelter and many of the women who go through the shelter have no computer skills. I’d like to put together a Intro to Basic computers one on one training sessions. I don’t want reinvent the wheel by creating my own tutorial. Where can I find one already done that I can download and print for free?

I want to create a class to offer middle aged men and women that would beef up their computer literacy skills so that they will still be able to market themselves should they find themselves unemployed. I am curious as to what you think those basic skills are and how important each skill would be to someone who might find themselves on the wrong side of the digital divide with technology should they loose their job?
