I am wanting to start math tutoring business, will this lift off the ground?

I am what you might call maths genious. My friend, how much do you in America pay for such help. I work from kiddies maths to upper level American maths.
In my home country people have paid me as much as what would be $60 USD in your American dollars. How is this sounding in the USA?

Math is a hard subject for most people. It would take off.

$45 to $60 per hour seems about right depending on what level of math is required.
Market your services through the schools so that the math teachers are aware of your services and so are the parents. Math teachers could then recommend your tutoring services to any of their students who were struggling in their class.
For college level just put up advertising on the bulletin boards offering your tutoring services.

Why go to America? Why not Nigeria? In Nigerian universities the department of maths is understaffed (’cause they want it so). Each lecturer publishes a text book and sells it to his students (compulsory) and each one has about 1000 students in his class (the lecturers want it so!) So brother, if you want to make money with maths, apply to univerisities here in Nigeria.
