   Yes! There are many options and so many ways to make money. But I am a SAHM as well. I run a daycare from home m-f. Then on weekends, I worked it out w/ one of the families I work with, so that we trade weekend childcare. I watch their daughter for free sunday, and they watch mine saturday (or however we want to do it). This allows me free time, with which I go to the flea market and make anywhere from $100-$300 in a day. Where do I get the items to sell? I search craigslist constantly for people selling huge lots of new and used stuff, from baby clothes to household items. Always look for people selling clothing less than $1 a piece….and trust me there is lots of people who have a ton of junk they just want gone. Always try to negotiate a lower price. When you get the items evaluate what you have, and price them to sell – not to get rich! Typically for example, you can find someone with a bag of clothes (30-40) pieces. They are asking $25, you offer them $15. Then you could sell for $1 a piece minimum and you’ve doubled your money. That simple.

   So…you watch children from home. Check for the daycare/babysitting rates in your area and follow suit. This saves YOU money on daycare, allows your child to be around other children, and it can be GREAT income depending on how many kids you have and how much you charge.

   Ebay, craigslist, and freecycle.org are great sites for finding wonderful bargains. Also check with people on craigslist who have recently posted yardsales…they almost always have leftover stuff they need gone.

   I have been doing these two things and it has worked out great. But these are just two options. You could always just do one or the other. But sales and childcare seem to be the booming business for SAHM. Neither one require a college degree or a whole lot of aggravation. Both can actually be a lot of fun! Hope this helps! Good luck!
