where can i get a tutor that makes home visits?

My brotherinlaw is in severe help with reading. He is a freshmen in high school and can read a 4th grade level. (The system let him pass thru the grades becuz of his health problem as a child) I was tutoring him after i married my husband but it seems i find my self struggling to make him learn. He is not my problem but i offer to help. Now i need a professional help? is there tutor company that makes home visits? sylvan does not make home visits in my town

It depends on where you live. I live in South Florida and as a tutor, I am willing to make house calls. I believe you would have to contact the local schools/ tutoring centers to see if they can introduce you to someone that way.

Placing an ad in your local newspapers is a good start but also ask the boy’s school (specifically his English teachers) and your local community college for advice on where to go for additional home tutoring or even night classes.
