in a previous question I asked the following
“i was born with an unusually large tongue. From pictures i’ve seen on the internet, i don’t think i have macroglossia. I taste everything, i can pronounce all letters, not very clearly however: especially s and sh. I have been diagnosed twice, but not very accurately. The first diagnosis when i was an infant was that this enlargement is like an extra part that will eventually seem smaller the older i get, since my tongue and mouth will grow. The second diagnosis is a very recent one, claiming that my tongue is not fully developed, that only one of three stages has developed, growing bigger than normal to substitute the other two developmental stages. I wish to know why my tongue looks like this, do other people have the same tongue and whether it is advisable to have an operation to change it?”
